Guztech have worked on some impressive commercial security projects, which we are very proud of, helping many Australian organisations solve their security problems by creating lasting business solutions. Commercial Security Projects – CCTV

VMS Server Upgrade

This health care site running Avigilon VMS head-end has been upgraded keeping this project within customer’s budget by using existing servers. Software and licences have been upgraded from ACC version 5 to ACC latest version 7. During this upgrade, storage of these servers have also been expanded from 10 Tb each server (5 x 2TB HDDs) to 32 Tb (8 x 4TB HDDs). New storage array was configured as RAID 5 in order to provide fast and reliable read speed but also offering inexpensive data redundancy and fault tolerance.

Commercial Security Projects – Inner Range EACS

Inner Range Upgrade

Inner Range flagship product Concept was declared End Of Life back in 2019 after 23 years of service in the electronic security market. As a result, many customers upgraded their electronic access control systems to Integriti, Inner Range award winning product. There are many sites that still run on Concept systems without any major issues, however, Concept replacement parts and software have been discontinued and declared unsupported. Guztech continues assisting our clients with this migration which, fortunately, it is usually a smooth process. Moreover, this upgrade cost and downtime are kept to the minimum as 95% of the existing Inner Range Concept equipment are already backward compatible with Integriti, and therefore, there is no need to replace all existing Concept components.

This upgrade was carried out at a commercial facility which consisted of 10 doors and 26 zones ranging from PIRs, reed switches and smoke detectors. Inner Range Integriti Control Security (ISC) panel, was connected to a 4G T4000 dialler in order to report back-to-base monitoring centre.

Commercial Security Projects – Comms

Rack Upgrade

This rack upgrade project carried out at a TAFE facility consisted of re-splicing existing multi-mode fibre optic and running new cat 6 data cables for additional IP digital cameras. CCTV active equipment such as NVR, network switches, display monitor and client workstations were also upgraded as part of this project.

All works were carried out during weekend shifts in order to minimise disruption to students and personnel. Upon successful completion of this upgrade, onsite staff were trained on how to use the new CCTV software including monitoring live feed as well as checking and retrieving playback footage.
